Frohner1 has been playing video games since 1990 when he first played Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES.
I began my adventures on the Internet back when GeoCities ruled the World Wide Web. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahoo!_GeoCities)
My first 2 websites were fan sites dedicated to Pokémon, and the American heavy metal band Metallica. It was a simpler time.
I’ve had an interest on and off in “live streaming” since back in 2002, when I set up a webcam that took a photo every 15 seconds and uploaded to my web server, auto refreshing on the page it was embedded in. It was relatively primitive and of course, did not have sound.
I began a career in photography back in 2008 as a sports portrait photographer. During this period of time I had the privilege of traveling the East Coast from Maine over to Ohio and down to Florida, stopping at almost every state in between and photographing in 10 of them.
In 2012, I started my own business to pursue the dream of what I like to call a “creative lighting specialist”. The company was called “Frohtography”. My focus was in engagements & weddings, baby photos, corporate events, and event photography – in both natural light and artificially lit scenes that I created.
In 2018 I decided to close the business and continue photography as a hobby. In the 6 years that I was operating, I was nominated twice for “photographer of the year” in the city that most of my work was conducted in.
I have an A.A.S. in Visual Communications focusing on photo, video, and television, with a background in mass communications and digital media & marketing. Fun fact: I can direct and operate a TV broadcast news station, though not at the same time 🙂
