This is a new build that I have only conceptualized recently. Windows 7 is my favorite OS, so as my current Win7 machine is converted to become the ultimate Windows XP rig, I will need a new system to fill this position. At the same time, I want a streaming PC for the entertainment setup in the basement. This setup is here to provide the (almost) ultimate Windows 7 experience. This is sure to be OP.

Seems to be the fastest memory that is supported by the i7-6700K.

Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 1660 Super SC Gaming
I used my 1050 Ti until this year, no problem with modern games at medium settings. A GeForce RTX 2070 Super could also be considered.

Power Supply: EVGA P2 850 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
A good power supply. I like to use a PSU that will stay under 50% maximum load. A 750 Watt PSU would also fit the criteria in this build.

Case: Cooler Master Elite 500 with ODD or Thermaltake Versa J22

CPU Air Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Something to cool better than stock.

Solid State Drive: Western Digital Black 2TB SN750 NVMe SSD Gen3
This is my top pick for Gen3 NVMe.

CD/DVD: ASUS BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer
As my 3rd PC with an optical drive (DVD and Lightscribe are accounted for), I should install a Blu-Ray burner in this machine.

This PC MUST run 64 Bit Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate because of the 16GB memory limit of the Home edition.
