This is my current main rig. I assembled it in August 2021.
Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming Z590-Plus WIFI
Solid and stable. Great board so far.
CPU Socket: LGA 1200
CPU Brand: Intel
CPU Model: Core i9-10900KF
CPU Speed: 3.7 GHz | Max Turbo Frequency: 5.30 GHz
Processor Core Count: 10
L2 Cache Size: 20 MB
Bus Speed: 8 GT/s
I would only consider upgrading to Intel® Core™ i9-11900KF Processor (3.5 GHz base - up to 5.30 GHz, 8 Cores, 16 Threads, 16M Cache), to unlock PCIe 4.0 (but only with an RTX 3090), and to unlock NVMe Gen 4. I don't think this is something I would personally do though.
Currently, with an RTX 3060 and a Gen3 NVMe, it is just not a good option.
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Royal 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16
Another set of memory sticks would be nice but not currently needed.
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 XC Gaming 12GB GDDR6
An upgrade from a 1050 Ti. I now have plenty of VRAM and ray-tracing. The 3060 is also VR-ready. I would consider upgrading to a 3070, but beyond that, I personally think the power draw is too high. I don't think I will be upgrading to the 40x0 series, for the same reason.
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 P2, 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular
Solid PSU so far. I like to use a PSU that will stay under 50% maximum load. No need to change in the foreseeable future.
Case: Lian-Li LANcool II Mesh RGB ATX Mid Tower
Best case I've owned so far but dust collects quickly.
CPU Air Cooler: Cooler Master MasterAir MA624 STEALTH
Big. Beefy. Stealthy? I love the look of this thing and it keeps the CPU temp down.
Solid State Drive: Western Digital SN750 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME
If I made the upgrade to Intel 11th gen CPU, I would upgrade the NVMe to a Gen4 SN850.
Fans: Cooler Master MasterFan MF120 PRISMATIC x6
Best looking fans, IMO. Quiet and cool.
Monitor #1: Samsung UN40H5203 40" 1080p LED-LCD HDTV
A TV that I have been using as a PC monitor since 2015 or 2016, no issues.
Monitor #2: Samsung B2430H Series
Originally purchased for my i5 build, around 2011 or 2012, still performing like new.
Monitor #3: Viewsonic VA1938 Series
I saved this one from being thrown in the dump. It didn't have a display at first, but after a few days, it started working and has never had a problem since.
Keyboard: Hewlett Packard 5302H Internet Multimedia Keyboard
This is my favorite keyboard don't @ me. I bought another for my main rig after the F7 key broke on my other.
Mouse: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse
I got this mouse on June 13, 2022 to replace a broken EVGA X17 Gaming Mouse. First impressions of the Logitech are good.
Overall, I am pleased with the performance of this PC. It is nice to have next-gen features, Ray-Tracing, DLSS, DLAA, aRGB. It will be a while before I build again.
